About "Missionary Moments"

Welcome! I am just going to "briefly" fill you in on what this blog is all about.

I started this blog, and then realized I wanted it to be collaborative, so my friend Avery is the first to jump on board and co-author with me. She's going to take over once I head out on my mission, but just so you know, she's the amazing one. And I'm so glad she was the first to jump on board with me, I am honored to call her my friend, and if you follow this blog, I promise her insights and testimony will bless your life. She has blessed mine. She has full admin privileges over this blog, so she can add anything she'd like to this post, but for now, this is my introduction:

I believe that we are all on a journey, and that ultimately, we all want the same things. This doesn't make us all exactly alike, and it doesn't mean that we all want the the same things right now. But we are all somewhere, on the same journey and our happiness now, and at the end, both depend on the way we live our lives on this journey. And I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints teaches us the best ways to be the most happy on, and at the end of this journey. I know that my Savior lived and still lives. That he walked upon this earth and that his Atonement provided us a way to be forgiven for our sins, and to be comforted in our trials. I know that He set up a church upon this earth, so that we could learn about our Father in Heaven, and so that we can live with Him again someday. I know that Joseph Smith restored The Church of Jesus Christ to the Earth. It is the Lord's church, with the Power of God, The Priesthood. And because it is the Lord's church, all things are possible. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

 Regardless of what you believe, this is what I know. Now, I'm not going to be one of those "I'm right, you're wrong" kind of people. That's silly. Because that would be missing the whole point, that we're all somewhere on this journey. So I'm not really worried about what you think, or know or believe right now. You are you! And I will gladly teach and share what I know, and I would love it if everyone became as happy as me. But this blog isn't meant to pressure or convert anyone because the fact of the matter is, the Gospel does it's own converting. I just want to give people an opportunity to learn about me, and my Church, and to grow with us all. This is EVERYONE's Journey. And that is fantastic, because we are all children of God. And so, as such we are all here together to love and to help each other on our journeys, no matter what. So this blog is going to be about life. And experiences. Things that build us and make us happy, things that help us become what we want to be, and I believe that being a Latter-Day-Saint is crucial to doing those things, so that will be a big part of my blog. But whoever you are, and whatever your beliefs, I know you have something to bring to the table, and help us all grow. So, welcome!

The purpose of this blog, is for me to help others see how happy I am. And whether you want to believe what I do, or not, hopefully you can find somewhere, where our paths have crossed, do cross, or will cross on this Journey, and that way we can all help each other find happiness. And if you find, while you're here, that you'd like to know more... well... there's definitely going to be plenty of that too.

Everyone is welcome here. Whether you're a member, or not. We are all children of God. This blog will still be run by my rules though, so anything that I see as potentially offensive, will be removed. That doesn't mean you're wrong, it just means it wasn't conducive to the atmosphere I wanted to create. I love you all. Whoever, or wherever you are.
